Cops and robbers

So today was a very interesting day. At 9:20am a bank near us was robbed. The police pursued the suspect after seeing the dye bag explode in his car. The chase ended when the suspect jumped out of his vehicle and a standoff was ended when seven police officers fired on the suspect. The suspect was air lifted and died. So, the interesting part of this story...the shootout was at the intersection of High Bridge Rd and Rt. 450 (yes, JUST down the street from us). More interesting. At 9:30am, Dara and I loaded into my car to make a trip to Target, which requires us to go to said intersection. Basically, we arrived just after the police shot the suspect. So, had we left just a minute or two earlier, well...who knows. Remember to tell your family you love them tonight!!!
