The basement is DONE!!
BUT.....I forgot to take "after" pictures and now my parents have moved in...there are boxes EVERYWHERE!! I promise to take a bunch of pictures once they have time to unpack and organize. I am amazed at the transformation from a nasty, dark basement into a really beautiful apartment..The best part of the whole thing is that our family became very close friends with Jeff (our contractor) and his family, so now we have a beautiful house to call home, and great new friends!! Next project...the upstairs bathroom!!

That is impressive that you can actually become friends with you contractor! Most people walk away hating them! I can't wait to see the pictures.
