So...it is raining. It has been raining for eternity. It is flooding so badly around here that many school systems are shut down. So of course last night our back patio came dangerously close to becoming a swimming pool. We contemplated getting out some fins and floaties and having a time of it. Instead we spent the night bailing water, two wet vacs running constantly. This morning Jeff came over with the pump and we are now pumping out the patio and overflowing our backyard (the water just doesn't have anywhere to go). The plus side to this is that we are getting very close to nature, Friday a turtle visited our front porch, and last night and today the toads started moving in!! Send us rafts!!!
